Imagine waking
up each morning with light pouring through your window at just the right time.
Picture your window shades or window blinds opening up at the exact moment that
your alarm clock goes off, giving you a much-needed burst of sunlight to start
your day. Believe it or not, it is possible to have window treatments that accommodate
your schedule, and almost anticipate your daily needs. Sound too good to be
true? Well, with motorized window treatments, all of this is possible. Nearly all
our window treatments can be motorized, using the Hunter
Douglas Powerview® Motorization system that is
innovative and easy-to-use. Want to find out more about this beneficial
service? Here are three reasons why motorized window
treatments would
be a great addition to your home.
1.
Motorized Window Treatments Provide
Effortless Light Control
Controlling
motorized window treatments is exceptionally simple. You can open and close
your window treatments at any time, with just the click of a button. With the Powerview® Motorization system,
you can control each window treatment segment individually, or you can control
all of them at once. Most of our motorized products are battery-powered, which
means they are easy to install and will not impact your electrical usage.
2.
Enhanced Window Treatment Control with
the PowerView® App
The best thing
about our Powerview® Motorization system is that it can
be paired with the PowerView® app. This app allows you to create a custom
schedule for each motorized window treatment using just a smartphone or a
tablet. For example, you can program your bedroom window treatments to open up at sunrise every weekday, while programming them
to rise a bit later on weekends. No matter how you would like your window
treatments positioned throughout the day, with the PowerView app, anything is
possible. The app also includes a RemoteConnect™ feature, which
allows you to control your window treatments even when you are far away from
home.
3.
Motorized Window Treatments Combine
Style & Safety
If you have
pets or small children, then you may want to consider motorized window treatments to enhance the safety of your home. The
drawstring cords of some traditional window treatments can at times seem like
enticing playthings. If a child attempts to play with a drawstring cord, the
cord may get tangled around their neck and cause injury. Fortunately, our
motorized window treatments are completely remote-controlled, eliminating the
need for any cords or strings. These products will help you create a safe space
for your entire family.
